The Northern Panahndle Conservation Dsitrict will award one $1,500 scholarship to a current college student that is a resident of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio or Marshall County. The scholarship is attached with a list of requirements.

The Northern Panhandle Conservation District believes that it's primary purpose is to be of service to landowners. It tries to make as many services as possible available to cooperators. The following is a list. which the District and our conservation partners have to offer:

Thanks to generous appropriations from the U.S. Congress and the West Virginia Legislature, Conservation Districts throughout West Virginia offer a variety of cost-share programs to assist farmers in the improvement of land, the enhancement of water and soil quality and the improvement of forage productivity. These programs complement existing United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs and are designed to help farmers reach the goals of their conservation plans. Northern Panhandle Conservation District has rental equipment available and also offers items for sale to encourage and support the installation of conservation best management practices.

No- till Drill Four to fifteen acres - $10.00 per acre More than fifteen acres - $7.00 per acre
Fimco Sprayer $25.00 per day
Aerator $35.00 per day
Lime/Fertilizer Spreader $25.00 per day
