The PVCD Ag Enhancement Committee will meet on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the USDA Service Center in Moorefield.  The purpose of the meeting is the review and take action on the AgEP practice applications and payments received to date. 

The Ag Enhancement Committee will meet on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, beginning at 7:00 pm at the USDA Service Center in Moorefield.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and finalize the funding allocations for the FY18 Ag Enhancement practices.

Poultry Litter Hotline

The Potomac Valley Conservation District and the West Virginia Conservation Agency are proud to announce the return of the WV Poultry Litter Hotline. The Hotline number is: 1-844-LITTER1 (844-548-8371) and serves as a communication resource linking buyers and sellers of poultry litter.

There is also a website for the WV Litter Market, https://wvlittermarket.wordpress.com/. To browse the list of buyers and sellers, please visit our Find a Buyer or Seller page and fill out the form.  Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an email with a list of various buyers and sellers of poultry litter in West Virginia. If you wish to be listed on the West Virginia Litter Market website, please fill out the form on our Contact page.

The PVCD also offers a cost share program for Poultry Litter, a rate of $10/ton, if the litter is shipped outside of the Chesapeake Bay! Potomac Valley Conservation District will hold a special meeting at the district office in Romney on Friday, May 26th at 9 AM.
