| Water Hauling Tank Program - 10/10/19 |

Farmers impacted by drought conditions can apply for emergency assistance to purchase water tanks, fittings. The program provide 50 percent of the total cost of water tanks and necessary fittings, with a maximum reimbursement of $400 per farmer, based on receipts. Retroactive purchases of water tanks and fittings dating back to Sept. 1, 2019, will be eligible for reimbursement if the farmer provides receipts and documentation. The tanks may be filled with water from various sources and are to be used solely for the purpose of supplying livestock with drinking water. A cooperator who receives a reimbursement for water tanks and fittings cannot apply again for another five years. Sign ups will begin Thursday October 10th and end Friday October 25th . Invoices must be submitted by Friday November 22nd .

Tygarts Valley Conservation District will be accepting AgEP Cost Share Applications April 15 - May 17. NO applications will be accepted before 8am on April 15 or after 4pm on May 17. All applications submitted must have a farm map. Soil samples must be submitted if applying for lime or nutrient management practices. View PDF |
