News Release: Ohio County and Marion County residents can report debris blockages
Residents in Ohio County and in Marion County who see or live near debris blockages in streams can call their local conservation district offices to report the blockages.
Report all blockages adjacent to improved properties.
The WVCA's Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) program seeks to remove woody debris blockages that threaten improved properties that include homes and all dwellings, driveways, garages, roads, public utilities, businesses, barns and other eligible structures.
Residents in Ohio County can report debris blockages by calling the Northern Panhandle Conservation District at (304) 238-1231.
Residents in Marion County can report debris blockages by calling the Monongahela Conservation District at (681) 781-8381.
