Video: Debris blockage removal in the Triadelphia area
This video is just one example of the many debris blockages that WVCA watershed technicians, conservation specialists and managers have worked with contractors to remove in the Triadelphia area of Ohio County.
This particular blockage, caused by the flooding, was recently removed.
WVCA crews continue to work under the Governor's emergency declaration to address the June 14th flooding in Ohio County. The WVCA's Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) program was activated shortly after the flood.
The EWP program seeks to remove woody debris blockages that threaten improved properties that include homes and all dwellings, driveways, garages, roads, public utilities, businesses, barns and other eligible structures.
