Video: Furrow Family Farm protecting soil, water, endangered spinymussel

David Furrow and his father, John, before him, spent years adding conservation practices to their scenic farm in Waiteville, in Monroe County, WV.

The best management practices not only increase soil and water quality on the farm, but also help protect the endangered James spinymussel in Potts Creek.

The Furrows have worked with the West Virginia Conservation Agency and the Greenbrier Valley Conservation District, as well as other state and federal agencies, to make improvements to their land and the environment.
